The ALLEVYN Gentle Border dressing range has been designed for people with particularly sensitive or fragile skin. Allevyn Gentle border has a soft silicone gel which reduces trauma to the wound when the dressing is changed and patient pain, without compromising care. It utilises three-layer technology to help wound healing. Its absorbent hydrocellular foam pad is held between a perforated wound contact layer and a highly permeable out film.

Directions
Cleanse the wound with an appropriate wound cleanser. Ensure the wound is dry before applying. Choose the correct size dressing to ensure proper coverage of the wound. Gently remove the backing film and apply the dressing to the wound area, ensuring the silicone border adheres securely to the skin. If required, use medical tape to further secure the dressing edges. Dressings can be left in place for up to 7 days or as per healthcare professional's guidance.
Days of Wear: Can be left in place for up to 7 days except for the sacral area which can be left in place for up to 5 days
Precautions
If symptoms of illness or irritation appear, stop using the product. When applying the dressing, avoid stretching it because this might impact adherence. Always seek the advice of a medical practitioner while managing wound care.
Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. Avoid extreme temperatures.
