Usage
Remove the Mace and break the shell of the Nutmeg before grating it for use. Nutmeg whole with Mace can be grated into a powder form and stored in an air tight container to retain the freshness and aroma. Mace can be removed from the Whole Nutmeg and used separately as an ingredient in cooking.
- Both Nutmeg and Mace can be added in to soups and other recipies as a flavouring agent.
- Grated Nutmeg can be added to porridge, smoothies, cakes and other baking recipies
Tip: Add 1g of Nutmeg to warm milk or warm water before bed to aid in getting a good sleep.
