Beet It Sport is a range of award-winning natural nitrate products made from concentrated beetroot juice.
Beetroot juice is a natural source of dietary nitrate that the scientific research community now uses it for almost all the research they conduct into nitrate supplementation. There have been more than 250 studies worldwide so far, most of them using our Beet It juice.
Beet It Sport Nitrate 3000 concentrate contains 7.5 daily servings of 400mg dietary nitrate (3,000mg per 250ml) packed into each 250ml bottle, derived solely from concentrated beetroot juice. Dilute one serving with 150ml water; alternatively, add to a smoothie or yoghurt, or mix with muesli or oats.

How Does It Work?
After consuming nitrate-rich beetroot juice, it is absorbed into the bloodstream and taken up by the salivary glands, before being converted to nitrite by bacteria in the mouth.
Nitrite is then swallowed, absorbed into the bloodstream and transported around the body. It can be converted to nitric oxide in the blood and in various organs including muscle.
Nitric oxide is important for several processes that influence exercise performance, including vasodilation (widening of blood vessels) and muscle contractility (increase in the force of contraction).
A key effect of dietary nitrate is that it reduces the oxygen demand of exercise, meaning the muscles need less oxygen to maintain a given work rate, thereby improving exercise efficiency, fatigue resistance and exercise performance.
