Uses

Irish Moss Powder can be added to smoothies, encapsulated or mixed with a little water or juice. To increase the nutritional profile, soak in water for a few hours and allow it to form into a gel to thicken up smoothies.

Suggested Use: 1/4 teaspoon 1-3 times daily. 1 teaspoon equals 2g.

Contraindications

Irish moss functions as a thinner. As a result, individuals that are taking anticoagulant medications (blood thinners) should abstain from using Irish moss in any form.

Pregnant and breastfeeding mothers should not use Irish Moss as the effects are unknown.
