Known as "Diamond of the forest". Chaga is one of the most highly regarded fungi and has been used in many baltic countries for hundreds of years. Chaga thrives in colder climates in the Northern Hemisphere and grows as a black hardened mass exclusively on Birch trees. However inside the Chaga conk it boasts a beautiful deep golden colour.
Chaga is thought to have the highest antioxidant capacity of any functional mushroom and contains many bioactive compounds such as inotodiol and betulin.

Our Double Liquid Extract Flavourings are alcohol based and engineered in our labs in Australia and USA using a unique double extraction process, they are full spectrum which means that we use both the mushroom fruiting bodies and the mycelium in our extraction process to create a well-rounded, high quality product.
All of our Double Liquid Extracts Flavourings are infused with Australian native Kakadu Plum, known to have the highest recorded level of natural vitamin C than any other fruit in the world.

Where is your Chaga wild harvested from?
We have a special friend who responsibly wild harvests the Chaga we used in our extracts from pristine forests in North America. He is very passionate about the forests and we can trust that he will never over-harvest the wild Chaga to ensure that the ecosystem will stay in balance and harmony.
The extract doesn't have a detectable mushroom taste. It is easy to take because of its mild flavour, but I'm just wondering about effectiveness?
Our liquid extracts are 1:2 which means that 1kg of mushroom material is used to make 2L of liquid extract. The liquid extracts are made using a double extraction method (water and alcohol based). This double liquid extract ensures that both water soluble compounds (mainly polysaccharides like beta-glucans) and alcohol soluble compounds (mainly antioxidants such as triterpenoids) are present in the end product and bioavailable for the consumer. We are using both fruiting bodies, primordia and mycelium to ensure that the entire life cycle of the mushrooms full spectrum is in the end product.
Our liquid extracts are purified using pharmaceutical grade equipment which results in a clear purified colour. This differs from other companies extracts, which are made without purification steps, resulting in a more pigmented extract with a strong pungent flavour that is not palatable. Our extract are made from 70% of purified water extract and 30% of alcohol extract purified extract combined together.

Directions
Add your liquid double extracts directly to your coffee, smoothie, tea or water. Feel free to mix and match! Just use 2ml each of your chosen extracts in one drink.
1/2 a dropper full is approximately 1ml, you can use this as a guide for the recommended serving size.
