Udo's Choice Ultimate Oil Blend is the perfect plant based choice for anybody looking to add a daily source of high quality essential omegas to their diet everyday. It can be incorporated into your daily diet with minimum effort, simply add or drizzle over foods or drink. Just remember not to heat the oil as that damages the delicate essential fatty acids.
The oil is refrigerated in a dark glass bottle to prevent damage & for optimal freshness and the oil the capsules are unrefrigerated for convenience.
- Essential fatty acids are needed for the normal growth and development of children. This effect is obtained with a daily intake of 2g of Alpha-linolenic acid (ALA) and a daily intake of 10g of linoleic acid (LA).
- Alpha-Linolenic Acid (ALA) contributes to the maintenance of normal blood cholesterol levels at a daily intake of 2g ALA.
- Linoleic acid (LA) contributes to the maintenance of normal blood cholesterol levels at a daily intake of 10g LA.

Uses
Pour around one to two tablespoons of this nutritious oil on your food:
- Mix in with prepared pasta sauces
- Add to porridge
- Blend with your favourite smoothie or juice (see quick recipe below)
- Mix with balsamic vinegar for a salad dressing
- Mix in with Mayonnaise
- Add to a fruit yoghurt
- Add to dips and spreads
- Mix in with mashed potato or pour into stews or soups
Directions
Shake the bottle gently before each use. Udos Choice Oil Blend is compatible with all foods and can be used with cold, warm, and hot (once off the heat source) foods but avoid cooking or frying as this damages the delicate structure of the oils, and greatly reduces their nutritional benefits. Mixing into prepared food at serving temperature is preferred. Favourite uses are in salads, protein shakes, yoghurt, juices, soups, steamed vegetables, rice, pasta, and balsamic vinegar for dipping. Alternatively, you can consume it straight off the spoon!
Adults: one tablespoon per 50lb of body weight
Children: Administer the oil in proportion to weight. If you weigh 100 pounds and use three dessert spoons each day, a 10-pound child should take about 1/10th as much as you. However, because children are more metabolically active than grown-ups, they may need a little more oil than is proportional to their weight.
- Under three years: one teaspoon every two days
- 3-8 years: one teaspoon a day
- 8-12 years: one tablespoon a day
- 12 and up: one to two tablespoons per day
Sealed Udos Choice Oil Blend bottles can be kept for up to eight months refrigerated and for over two years in the freezer (oil shrinks when frozen so the glass bottles will not break). For freshness, the oil is best used within eight weeks of opening the bottle. Once opened, use within eight weeks and keep refrigerated between uses. Keep out of reach of children
